Considering passengers' concerns, Qantas has expanded its frequent flyer programs, which state that members will access 20 million seats per year. The reward that Qantas has made with their passengers is named "Classic Plus," as this feature gives travelers the eligibility to book their flight tickets in the new way possible and get affordable travel deals.

According to the reports, Qantas' biggest expansion in the frequent flyer program has occurred for the first time in the history of 35 years. This change will allow travelers to travel to various destinations like London, Tokyo, New York, and Singapore using Qantas points even during peak times. The "Classic Plus" reward points are going to be available for both international and domestic flight tickets, accessible to 20 million new reward seats for travel across; the rolling of this feature is going to be available for 12 months, and it will roll out from 12th December 2024.

In addition to that, various statements have been issued by Qantas Airways, in regards to this this expansion. The Loyalty Program CEO Andrew Glance said in its statement: "The widespread availability of Classic Plus means frequent flyers have more options to fly where they want when they want to, and more often, using their points.

The new type of reward seat will usually require more points than the highly sought-after existing Classic seats. It will be available to all destinations on the Qantas international and domestic network across First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.

"We know how much our members love the existing reward seats and have been booking them in record numbers, so the new Classic Plus product we're announcing today is over and above our commitment to 5 million Classic reward seats."

Furthermore, Qantas is leveling up and looking ahead to investing $60 million, as per the additional reward points for the frequent flyer program, this fiscal year. Along with such a big investment by Qantas, they are going to add 6000 new premium classic reward points to Europe, which will be in accordance with the peak travel periods.

Hence, the Qantas Classic Plus frequent flyer program option represents that travelers will get the best travel deals eventually. Meanwhile, with this option travelers from next year going to be able to have affordable and pocket-friendly deals.
